Casewell setup guide

About fifteen minutes, start to finish.

Casewell adds a wholesale ordering channel to the Shopify store you already run. The shops you sell to order at your wholesale prices, by the pack, and every order lands in your admin as a draft order you can invoice. This guide walks you through setting it up and taking your first order.

Before you start: install Casewell on your Shopify store, and make sure the products you want to sell wholesale are already in Shopify. Casewell reads your existing products, so there is nothing to re-enter. Any Shopify plan works. You do not need Shopify Plus.

1

Set your wholesale pricing

Open Casewell in your Shopify admin and go to Pricing. Three settings control the whole channel:

Set your numbers and click Save changes.

2

Choose products and pack sizes

Go to Products. Every active product in your store is listed here, with its wholesale price already calculated.

Adjust the ones you need and click Save changes.

3

Add or approve your buyers

Only approved wholesale customers can see wholesale prices and order. There are two ways to get them in, both on the Customers page.

Add a shop you already sell to

  1. Enter the shop's email under Add a wholesale customer.
  2. Click Add customer.

The shop needs a customer account in your store first. Adding them here marks them as wholesale so they can order.

Approve a shop that applies

When a new shop opens your wholesale link, they fill out a short application. It appears under Applications with their business name, contact, website, and a note about what they sell. Review it, then click Approve to give them access or Decline to pass. You decide who gets in.

4

Share your wholesale ordering link

Go to Overview. Near the top is your wholesale ordering link, with a Copy link button. This one link is the whole buyer experience.

Share it with the shops you sell to, on your line sheet, in your email signature, or wherever you talk to stockists. New shops use it to apply, and approved buyers use it to log in and place orders.

What your buyers see

When a shop opens your link:

It is a clean ordering page on your own store. No spreadsheets, no back-and-forth email to place an order.

Manage your orders

Every wholesale order arrives on the Orders page as a draft order, and you get an email the moment it comes in.

  1. Open Orders and find the new order, marked New.
  2. Click Send invoice. Shopify emails the buyer a secure checkout link, and the order is marked Invoice sent.
  3. When the buyer pays, the order is marked Paid automatically. From there you fulfill it in Shopify exactly like any other order.

Good to know: you can change your discount, minimum, and pack sizes any time, and the changes apply to new orders right away. To remove a buyer's access, remove the wholesale tag from their customer profile in Shopify.
